Shipping & Delivery

At American Indian Imports we make every effort to ensure that delivery and receipt of your goods is as stress-free as possible. To facilitate that, we will keep in touch with you at various stages of the ordering and shipping. All orders are shipped out from our global distribution center in New Delhi, India.


As soon as an order is authorized for payment, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order. This confirmation will indicate your order number that you can refer to for checking the status of your order.


Total Delivery Time = Time to Process Order + Time in Transit. All Orders below US $50 value are shipped via Normal Registered Airmail Post which typically takes 10-14 business days in delivery. Registered Airmail does not provide periodic online status updates at every check point like FedEx / DHL. The tracking information is only updated upon dispatch and arrival in the destination country, on the local post office website.

All Orders above US $50 value are shipped either via DHL Express or Priority Airmail (with complete web tracking). The shipment method we choose (DHL or Airmail) will depend upon the nature of the products ordered. DHL takes about 4-7 days for delivery, whereas Priority Airmail takes about 10 mailing days to deliver.

Processing time for all orders is 1-2 days.

Once we have packaged your order and ship it out, we will send you another email to let you know that it is on its way. We will also let you know the tracking number (so you can check the delivery status of your package online).

To ensure the quickest confirmed delivery of orders, please make sure to include the COMPLETE delivery address with the correct PIN/ZIP CODE. We will not be responsible for any delays resulting from incomplete address listings. All parcels shipped internationally require signature upon receipt to verify receipt. So we kindly ask that you be available and ready to receive the parcel at the shipping address you have provided to us so as to avoid any unnecessary complications or delays. If you know that there will be no one available to sign for your delivery, it may be best to supply an alternative address for delivery.

If no one is available at the delivery address to sign for the goods, the delivery company will leave a card quoting the card reference number to re-arrange delivery.


It is our endeavor to make shipping charges as reasonable as possible. Shipping is calculated according to the total value of the purchase as per the schedule below, and so it depends upon how many products you buy and usually not the weight or destination. Below is a breakdown of order total to shipment cost.


1-49$ = 9.90 $ 50-99$ = 14.90 $ $100 and above = Free Shipping
